A little bit about me...

I have always enjoyed taking photos!

While growing up, my grandmother (Memaw) was a heavy influencer in my life. My Memaw taught me many things about navigating life successfully and about happiness. Over time, my Memaw developed dementia and her memory began to fade. Having a loved one not recognize you is devastating. I was deeply saddened at the thought of my Memaw no longer having the many wonderful memories we shared. In 2001, my Memaw passed away and since then, I have been determined to preserve special moments in life for me, my family, and friends. My passion, driven by memories of my Memaw, have pushed me to capture so many special moments and start Lady Rae Photography!
